Built for speed, the Cheetah can reach 68 miles per hour in just 3 seconds! Black tear-shaped streaks on its face help in reflecting the sun as they hunt during the day. They can spot their prey 5kms away and are the only big cats that can turn in mid-air. Unfortunately, even the 3,000 spots on their bodies cannot save these sub-Saharan beauties that are now classified as vulnerable by the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
